This suit is a very, very good suit. The fabrics are the very best, the tailoring is exquisite, it's a all hand-finished, with little details like tiny weights sewn into the hem so it will hang perfectly. It has the store label of a designer boutique called Lenore Zapoleon. But no other label. I know that high end boutiques in the sixties would often remove design labels and replace them with their store label, but would they really do that with a very, very prestigious label? And then there are the buttons.....
I can't sell this on Ebay or Etsy, because the C company comes after me every time I try. Even if I don't say their name, they have managed to get the legal right to keep people from selling *anything* that has two C's, worldwide. Seriously. I once had a leather belt that had a double C brass buckle listed on Ebay, and the C company had the listing removed, even though I never used their company name, because you cannot say an item has a double C- even if it does!
Now they got the listing for this suit removed from Etsy, which is partly my fault, because I did say it sure looks like a C suit. But it does, doesn't it? So I can't sell it on Etsy or Ebay, but it's still for sale, and it;s still a really beautiful suit.
